Sources · how an opinion is built
The sources behind a FantasyOP opinion
FantasyOP does not hand you someone else's list. It internalizes data sources, prediction markets, and a player dossier, forms its own rank, and shows which sources led to the call.

What you can see on an answer
- A rank FantasyOP formed
- Data sources, prediction markets, and the research kept on that player are internalized first. The rank is fitted to your league, and it moves when the dossier and current reporting move. A static public list does not.
- The data sources, named
- A rank note names the data sources behind it, so you can see what the opinion drew on. The waiver wire sample on this site is that note, as the product shows it.
- Prediction markets
- They are one of the inputs, and they can move this week's start value. Trade value stays on its own.
- Today's reporting, cited
- When a question needs the latest news, an injury, a return, or why a player is struggling, FantasyOP checks the web at that moment. The answer cites those pages and keeps what was reported separate from what it inferred.

Read the note
On a rank, the sources are named. On a news or injury answer, the pages are cited.
What it doesn't do
- The opinion names its sources. It does not publish how those inputs are combined into the rank.
- It gives opinions, not guarantees, and not betting advice.
- A citation is a page the answer used. It is not an endorsement of that page.
Questions
FantasyOP builds the rank. It internalizes data sources, prediction markets, and a player dossier, then fits that rank to your league's scoring and lineup. The rankings page shows the top of the Full PPR redraft board a new account opens; the rest of the board needs a free account. This week's start advice also moves for injuries, byes, news, and recent form. Trade values stay separate. The opinion names the sources it used. When a question needs today's reporting, FantasyOP checks the web at that moment and cites what it finds.
